Happy Holidays friends. Last week my pal Kari and I got together to play around with some winter cocktail ideas. She came up with tasty delights that I am excited to share with you during this festive time of year.
2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Preserved Lemon Syrup
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
2 oz fresh Cranberries
Toss fresh cranberries in a dry pan on high heat until blistered and soft. Muddle cranberries in a shaker and shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube and scoop some cranberry on top. Garnish with skewered cranberries.
Eggnog Cocktail
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Morris Kitchen Ginger Syrup
1/2 oz Root Liquor
1/2 oz Egg Nog
Dash of Bitters
Grated Nutmeg
Combine and shake vodka, Ginger Syrup, Root and bitters. Strain into a glass and slowly top off with eggnog. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
Mulled Cider
1/2 Cup Bourbon
2 Cups Water
4 oz Morris Kitchen Spiced Apple Syrup
1 tbs star anise
1 tbs clove
4-5 orange slices
3-4 cinnamon sticks
makes a pot 4-5 servings
Love every single one!
